Scope

FUNLAYERS is preparing a Summer School on Nanoscale Characterization and Analysis, which will cover topics related to advanced characterization techniques in electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, and related spectroscopic techniques.

The programme features a wide range of subjects, from the basics to in-depth theoretical background and lab visits.

Practical sessions at INL’s Advanced Electron Microscopy, Imaging & Spectroscopy facility will complement the theoretical sessions, allowing participants to get acquainted with advanced techniques.

When

  • September 9-12, 2024

Who

  • The programme focuses on students and early-stage researchers in Nano/Materials Science.

  • The technical lectures cover techniques essential for researchers working in 1D-2D layered materials.

  • Participants with no previous contact with those techniques will certainly take advantage of the course to advance their field of research.

  • Experienced participants will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques.
